Play on over 8.5 -120
Two veteran hurlers going at it at PNC..Duke has been horrid over his past few starts, while Hernandez has probably been better than even the Nationals expected, but he simply puts too many runners on base..
Play on over 7.5 -100
This one is easy, even at Petco, as Cook has not pitched in a month and has been horrible on the road this season.Luebke is a rookie, who has just been called up, but he's not the guy to end SD's seven game losing skein..Lots of runs in this one, as the Rockies pen has to be tired after yesterday's 12-11 loss to Philly.
Play on LA Dodgers -140
Neither club playing well, but Billingsley has certainly out pitched Zito over the past month..In fact, Zito has dropped six straight decisions. Perhaps, with the Manny thing over, LA can get back to playing better baseball.

Feist's MLB Grand Slammer - Friday!
09/03 10:05 AM MLB (917) TORONTO BLUE JAYS VS (918) NEW YORK YANKEES.
Take: (917) TORONTO BLUE JAYS.
Reason: The new Yankee Stadium is an easy home run park and the top home
run team in the majors is visiting. Toronto has a powerful offense and
these teams just met in Toronto, where the Jays took 2 of 3 against the
pitching-thin Yankees, once as a +125 dog. The Blue Jays were also in
this park in early August and won 2 of 3, winning as +180 and +145 dogs.
Brandon Morrow goes for the Jays, a guy with electric stuff, fanning
174 in 143 innings. He has excellent control and has been on a tear,
with a 2.81 ERA his last three starts with only 6 walks, 16 innings and
23 Ks. The visitors hold all the cards. Play the Blue Jays.

09/03 06:40 PM MLB (911) HOUSTON ASTROS VS (912) ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS.
Take: (912) ARIZONA DIAMONDBACKS.
Reason: MLB GAME OF THE YEAR: Diamondbacks.
Arizona has been showing plenty of life the last three weeks, despite
being out of any pennant race. This offense has actually been very good
all season long, currently ranked No. 4 in runs in the NL. It's the
pitching that was a disaster, but now they have shipped out the
overpriced deadwood and have turned to the kids. One of the young arms
goes here in starter Daniel Hudson, who is 5-2 with a 3.03 ERA. His last
three starts: 21 innings, 4 walks and 25 strikeouts! Houston has never
faced him before, a huge edge for the home team as they don't have a
book on the kid. And while Arizona has a strong offense, the Astros are
just awful, second worst in runs scored in the league. Starter Brett
Myers has been great at home, but his ERA is one-and-a-half times higher
on the road, where is is 4-7. Play the Diamondbacks.

09/03 05:00 PM CF (147) ARIZONA VS (148) TOLEDO.
Take: (148) TOLEDO.
Reason: A long road trip for Arizona of the Pac 10. Arizona has a new
offensive coordinator after talented Sonny Dykes left, and there are
only 4 starters back on defense. Arizona opened against Central Michigan
of the MAC last season and won 19-6 as 14-point chalk. Toledo will be
fired up for this opener, with a Pac 10 school in town. This offense was
very strong last season, and they have had one of top MAC recruiting
classes. Sophomore QB Austin Dantin filled in for an injured Aaron Opelt
last season and completed 79 of 119 pass attempts (66.4 percent) for
962 yards in seven games and had four touchdowns and four interceptions.
Sophomore WR Eric Page was great as a freshman, with 82 receptions and
1,159 receiving yards. Toledo upset Colorado, 54-38, on this field last
September and has enough offense to hang within this big number. Play
Toledo.

Take: UNDER THE TOTAL.
Reason: A big showdown in St. Louis, which means both managers will use their best relief pitchers. And the starters are outstanding. Bronson Arroyo (14-8, 3.82 ERA) has a 2.95 ERA his last three starts, a veteran fired up for a pennant race. Jaime Garcia (2.33 ERA) of the Cardinals is 3-0 against the Reds this season and on a tear, with no runs allowed his last three starts! Look for a defensive duel in this one, Play the Reds/Cardinals Under the total.
